This stunning, stately, 18” x 11” x 11” Philco 42-350 was owned and refinished by a gentleman who ran a woodworking/ refinishing shop. He did the finish, and it is awesome!! Don’t miss this beautiful set!! My long time repairman, Tom Romano of Tom’s Antique Radio and Television repaired this set prior to when he passed away in April. It sounds excellent and picks up plenty of stations on both AM and 9.0- 15.5 MHz Short wave. The only issue I see is that the on/off push button sticks when turning the radio on and off, but it does work. Don’t miss this great set. 3) THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BID: All shipping costs are incurred by buyer. Insurance is required. We take extra care in packaging, (Bubble wrap, foam pellets, proper boxes, etc.)(NOT the wadded up newspaper trick) There is a cost for doing this right. Our goal is to get it to you in good shape, and for you to not have to file those fruitless shipping claims. Let's face it, once it's broke, it's broke. We have lost a significant amount of money in packaging over the past few years, and will continue to do so to get it to you in one piece.
