I am selling my beautiful and unworn Vera Wang wedding dress. I purchased the dress in March 2008 from Selfridges in London during their annual Vera Wang sample sale. It is a strapless silk taffeta gown with rouched bodice and a very fashion forward 'bubble' hem which provides a subtle twist on what is otherwise a very classic design. Measurements: Bust: 34 inches Waist: 32 inches Length (front) 56 inches Lenghth (back/train) 70 inches I am 5ft 3 inches/UK 8 but as the dress is an unaltered sample, it could quite easily accommodate a woman up to 6ft tall. The beauty of the dress is that it can fit any girl of any size (with altering) up to a UK size 12. As it is a sample, the dress had obviously been tried on numerous times but the only sign of this is some small pin marks on the seam on the back of the bodice. Otherwise the dress is in pristine condition. I have tried to photograph the pin marks but as they are so small and because of the nature of the material I couldn't get the shot. However, I had wanted to mention it as it's an imperfection albeit a very tiny one. If the bodice is being adjusted these would disappear as they're near the back seam but again want to stress they're not noticeable at all. RRP £3500 I paid £2000 (payment can be made by paypal but because of the amount, a cheque, bank transfer or cash at pickup would be preferable. I will deliver within zones 1 - 4 of the London area) The dress will be posted/delivered in its Vera Wang dress cover/protector and if being posted will also be protected by a box. The dress will also be posted by parcel force and will be fully insured. The sale also includes a £100 dry-cleaning voucher which I received with the dress from Selfridges, however, Selfridges advised me that they had already dry cleaned all their dresses before sale so it's perfect. Selfridges also provided me with the details of a fabulous alterations lady who they have worked alongside for the past 15 years.
