A hand made red textured leather purse, beautifully made with that certain 1950's look but could be a modern European or American artisan piece. No tags or maker's mark to be found, the purse is lined with fine pig-skin, has two inner compartments, the front one having a fold over inner flap. The closing mechanics are clever and simple ~ the open rectangle slots over raised loop & the tongue slips into the loop with ease securing the purse.

The reverse side has a fine slot which suits a thin belt, no more than 1 inch wide. Well machine stitched with white string all round. In excellent clean condition inside and out with little signs of use or wear, the purse is as new and has a good opening width of around 8 cm (3").
