Black and White photographic print 8"x10" (20x25cm) taken at Lakeside International Raceway north of Brisbane on July 25, 1971. The event was round 6 of the Australian Touring Car Championships for 1971.

Lakeside International Raceway has always been regarded as one of the best circuits in Australia.  With its fast flowing turns and changes in elevation and camber it certainly was a demanding and entertaining circuit.

In this classic photo John French driving Pete Geoghegan's Super Falcon picks up a front wheel as he powers out of Lakeside's notorious KLG or Hungry Corner.
