Superb "Danish Style" Sideboard made in the 70's and exhibiting the best qualities of OZ/Danish Design. Top quality construction and fabulous design has produced a piece that is excellent value for money. The sculptured "Wave" handles made of solid Qld Maple is a classic design is a top example of OZ/Danish style that is timeless. This really sets this sideboard apart from most of its contemporaries as it looks so stylish yet so minimalist. No wonder that mid-century items such as these are in top demand.
Other features include a large shelving space, 3 extra large drawers with a divided cutlery tray, piano hinges for strength and a top apron to stop items falling off behind the sideboard. This sideboard offers heaps of space as well as a unique, timeless look that just oozes style. Beautiful light honey color of Teak and Qld Maple that will compliment wooden floorboards or tiles. Quite a find in this excellent condition. The previous owner looked after this item very well and possibly kept it isolated from the "grand kids" if you know what I mean! A classic Danish/Retro beauty that represents good design and will remain a treasured item in your home.
Cleaned, oiled, & buffed it is now ready to do service. Being used furniture, they have the usual bumps, bruises and marks. But having said that, the item is in top vintage condition both aesthetically & structurally. Condition is about a 8.8/10 considering it's as about 35-40 y.o. The pictures tell the story.
