Superb Victorian Cut Crystal Lemonade Jug

For your consideration I offer this lovely old crystal cut glass lemonade jug.

 Genuine antique dating from late Victorian-Edwardian era, somewhere around the late 1800s-early 1900s.

This is a wonderful, quality piece and would have been quite expensive in its day.

The design is simple and elegant. 

The fine cut faceted rim is perfect, as is the spout.

The pretty star pattern on the body is hand cut, not molded.

 The domed 'starburst' base is crisp and clean.

Overall condition is excellent.

No chips, cracks or wear. 

For the sake of accuracy I'll mention that there appear to be two faults in the glass on the handle which are not damage but integral to the piece and characteristic of the period.

Measures 15 cm tall, 11cm diameter.

Weighs 1-2 kgs packed.

This item is located in the upper Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

Registered post within NSW is $10.25.
