How do I pay for my eBay Item?

Why does the payment status on "My eBay" page show that my auction
has not been paid for?
When purchasing items from us the auction payment status in your my eBay area is not automatically updated. The "Paid" feature in the My eBay section has no affect on your eBay standing - it is an eBay courtesy feature that is automated when payment through PayPal is completed. You may update this status your self in your "My eBay" area. Simply select the item and mark it as paid.

Why are your Listings Private?
I specify the private listing option because I used to get my auctions hijacked (when unscrupulous sellers email my bidders trying to sell them usually fake products). From advice I received from the Ebay forums and from Ebay customer service, they recommended that with high value goods it is best to keep your auctions private to ensure that your customers are protected from fraud emails.
