TAUNTON SILVER PLATE TRIVET RACQUET TENNIS NOVELTY

Offered for sale in this auction is this vintage trivet. The trivet says Taunton Silversmiths LTD on it, and E.P.S. The trivet has alot of tarnish on it. I did kind of rub it to see if it would come off, and alot of it does. But I am not sure it would clean up totally. I think a product like never dull perhaps would be in order. And might help, but I am not sure. It does need cleaning up. Still a very cute item. Looks old with the dark "patina" on it. Could be used perhaps in a garden or patio outdoor grilling area also. Where it could just be used and just left the way it is. In a more rustic kind of setting. Interesting the way it is made to look like a racket or racquet. Sure to make a welcome addition to your household decor and collection!
