The images are created by etching pure copper and then gilding it with silver and gold. The engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the Samurai warriors. this art form was handed down for over eight hundred years."

This saucer or small plate, depicts a Peacock and a bird sitting is what appears to be a cherry tree. The plate is 10.3 cm across and in excellent condition. Come with stand.

No chips, cracks or gold rubs and a beauty for display!
