THE NATURAL HOUSE BOOK - David Pearson “Creating a healthy, harmonious and ecologically sound home environment” Soft-cover - 287 pages – approx 9¾ x 4⅜ x ¾ inches ; plentiful colour drawings and photos; Index; 1989 (Collins, Publ.). Weight is approx. 1 kg. Unfortunately, there is extensive moisture damage to the front cover and about half of the following pages (progressively reducing in severity towards the rear) – in my photo this is purposely emphasised, so it can be seen (I don’t think that it’s really as bad as it looks). The spine has a little dent but no creasing. Binding is firm. Despite the rippling to the cover and pages, the affected text is perfectly readable and the photos still viewable. This book is a useful and quite inspiring source of ideas, info. on materials and design details with an emphasis on environmentally friendly and healthy options, all accompanied with attractive illustrations. I have made the starting price low in recognition of the poor condition of the book – buyer can decide what it’s worth to them.
