Canadian author Lionel Shapiro was there at D-Day and has an acclaimed classic to his credit based on the period: 'The Sixth of June' first published by Collins in 1956.

On offer is that 1st edition in very good condition still in its original  dustjacket (which has a few tears visible in the picture) and unmarked apart from an inscription. This desirable collectable measures 8" x 5.5" and with packaging weighs under 750g.
