1986 the second TIED TEST against India

Missing recently retired Chappell,Lillee & Marsh,& in the absence of the rebel cricketers,a depleted Australian side meet a vastly experienced India.In a test of many highlights...Boon & Border's centuries & Mathews 10 wicket haul,it was Dean Jones who captured the cricket worlds imagination. At a ground next to an open sewer, in temperatures hovering around 40C & 80% humidity,the stench was overpowering.Jones,in the 170s,had vomited several times,lost control of his bladder,his hands were cramping & he was dehydrated.When theVictorian suggested to his skipper that he might retire hurt,Border replied "we'll get a Queenslander out here....someone tough".This had the desired effect & a worn out Jones went on to get an unforgetable 210. Jones had lost seven kilos & was rushed to hospital on an intravenous drip.
