A novel which celebrates the bi-centenary of the First Fleet to Australia, some of which is based on historical fact such as the production of the play "The Recruiting Officer". Hodder & Stoughton 1987.

Fully signed by Thomas Keneally on the title-page. Tipped-in slip commemorating the opening of the head office of Hodder & Stoughton Australia at Rydalmere  in 1988. 

In good condition. Jacket is good with small tear to top corner and edge wear. Book is ex-library (retirement village not public library) with front endpaper having stamp and residue of previous label. Pages are clean and tight, with yellowing to edges. Boards show minor wear.

A very collectable book!
