A TIERED LACY SILK SKIRT

IN WONDERFUL SHADING FROOM REDDISH/MAROON TO CREAM.

LABEL READS 'CHRISTINE WHITE' MADE IN AUSTRALIA ' WITH A PREVIOUS PRICE IN BIRO ON LABEL.

(The word 'polyester' on the label has been deleted to read only 'silk' which I assume is a manufacturers alteration).

THIS REALLY GORGEOUS SKIRT MEASURES 100CM AROUND WAIST - THE BACK OF WHICH IS ELASTICISED - AND THE FRONT IS NOT - SO POSSIBLY WORN AS A MATERNITY GARMENT. THE FRONT WAISTBAND COULD ALSO BE EASILY ELASTICISED AS WELL TO REDUCE WAIST MEASUREMENT IF DESIRED TO EQUAL BACK WAISTBAND TO AROUND 88CM OR ABOUT A SIZE 18.

THE  HIP MEASUREMENT COULD BE CALLED 'FREE' BUT IS APPROX 120CM.  THERE IS A SMALL ZIP AT SIDE WAISTBAND WITH A HOOK CATCH.

IT IS DIFFICULT TO DESCRIBE HOW STRIKING THIS GARMENT IS - IT WOULD LOOK GOOD AT ANY EVENT AND WOULD REALLY GO WELL (I THINK) WITH A CREAMY COLOURED TOP.  IT IS ALSO QUITE  A GENEROUS LENGTH AT ABOUT 100CM AT LONGEST POINT. THE SKIRT IS BEAUTIFULLY CUT AND DRAPES WELL AS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS.
