All of our Tilda wraps are made from the highest quality A grade recycled vintage silk Saris.
Each and every Tilda Wrap is a unique one off original because it is created from recycled
vintage silk saris from India. Designed with two
layers of high quality, gorgeous, colourful
silk.
Tilda Wraps can
be worn over 100 different ways, simply by
twisting, turning and arranging their fabric
layers, you can create distinctive dresses,
skirts, tops, shawls, ponchos and kaftans. They
make an ideal travel item as they fold up small
are easy to wash and dry in no time.
We only make wraps that are made from 80% or higher silk content, for the quality of the material and the print, which make a much nicer wrap.
Our Tilda Wraps are made in different lengths and this size fits 8-16 for most styles and a
size 18 for many styles. The length of this wrap is approximately 34" and approximately 50" in width (Please allow for overlap (a few inches) and also check measurement including desired length).
Maternity Wear: Our TILDA® Wraps are also great for
maternity wear. I lived in this style of wrap
right through my pregnancy as they will adapt to
your ever growing belly. Not only that but you
will still be able to wear the very same wrap
after bub is born.

PLEASE NOTE: It is possible that not all style that you see in the gallery photo's are included in our instructions, you may need to be a little creative and use your imagination to discover some styles, you will be amazed with what you can come up with. Please understand with over 100 ways to wear it is impossible for us to have all of these on our instructional DVD, the styles we use in our gallery are chosen because they are they most suited to display large areas of the fabric and colour's.

All of our Tilda wrap are
professionally hand machine hem sewn and not
over locked or surged stitched. Mass overlocking
and surge stitch is know to unravel
which leaves the hem
hanging.

Our plus size wraps are available in a 36"
and 24" inch length only.
Standard size wraps are available in a variety of lengths:
'Short Length' 24 inch length, this length is best suited for short skirts, and will make some amazing tops. They are also perfect for little girl's dresses.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are of a slim build, this wrap is perfect for some multi-layered dress styles.
'Mid Length' is available in 28 or 30 inch length, these wraps fall below the knee or calf length for most people, they are great for skirts, tops or a short dress or longer multi-layer dress.
'Long Length' 34 Inch length
and are the most versatile length as it can be
transformed into dresses, skirts, tops, poncho's,
with a little bit of creativity you will be amazed
at what you can come up with!

The variations in colour or design only add to the unique true beauty of this one of a kind Vintage Wrap. You will find that some fabrics have a heavier or lighter feel, a satin, georgette, chiffon or raw silk texture. Some of our TILDA® Wraps also feature embellishments of gold or silver, embroidered detail, iridescent sheen and mirrors.

We have a very fair exchange policy, but do not return for change of mind, if the item does not fit, if you have not read the description, or you can not work out certain styles, so please make sure you read our full description and check measurements. If you are for any reason unhappy with your purchase and we have over looked any flaws or problems we will issue a Matilda's Place credit for the value of the item (less postage both ways, REGISTERED return) upon return of the product in 100% original condition.
Whilst we include a printed instruction sheet and extensive DVD showing over 60 ways to wear your Tilda Wrap it is possible that not all styles shown in our photo gallery will be included in our instructions. Because of the versatility of our Tilda Wraps it would be impossible for us to include instructions for each and ever style.
The photo's we chose to use in the gallery are based on the fact that they are the best to display the fabrics and colours of each Tilda Wrap.
All parcels (Australian customers) are now sent via registered eParcel as we rely on Australia Post Parcel pick-up items can only be sent out on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We do not charge our customers any extra for this registered service it is given as a free upgrade.
We pride ourselves on the way we pack our items to ensure they arrive to you in perfect condition. We just love to combine orders and only ever charge below Australia Post cost for the service we provide.
