Specifications:

Peeling
Always pull away from the vegetable holding the peeler at approximately 20 degrees. Allow the serrated blade to catch the vegetable, there is no need to apply any pressure. To peel onions always start at the root and draw the peeler downwards. If peeling potatoes the eyes can be removed with the scoop on the side of the peeler.
Shredding
Cut the cabbage in half leaving the core intact. Again hold the peeler at an angle of 20 degrees to the cabbage. Use long back and forth curving strokes towards the core as the peeler will shred in both directions, again there is no need to apply any pressure.
Slicing
Hold the peeler in the opposite hand with the blade turned upwards, you can rest it on a chopping board if you wish. Hold a carrot cucumber or courgette and draw it quickly along the blade for even slices. Use caution when fingers are near the blade, a useful tip is to hold the vegetable with a fork. To slice cheese, drag the peeler along, the more pressure the thicker the slice.
