CARE OF YOUR ALUMINUM WIND CHIME These wind chimes are meant to be used outdoors and last for many years. Chimes with wood strikers, which should be oiled yearly with linseed oil. If you need to clean your chimes, a non-metallic scouring pad is suggested. Do not use steel wool as it may scratch the pipes. In abrasive environments, the chimes will be shinier and have a higher luster if treated twice a year with a lubricant such as a silicon spray.
