A: hey there, the bike is stock and the gear leaver are on the brakes you just flick them to change gears, im not sure what brand they are as im not a bike enthusiast..sorry i couldnt be more help.

A: yeah its an SL 1000 and its about 3 years old, its been ridden a bit but only to do a few laps around centenial park every now and then, it has its bumps and scratches as a 3 yr old bike would... hope this helps.
