WEATHER STATION

SET INTO A UNIQUE PIECE OF  FIDDLEBACK REDGUM, THIS PIECE HAS THREE (3) SEPERATE GERMAN INSERTS THAT HAVE  BRASS SURROUNDS AND A PARCHMENT FACES WITH BLACK MARKINGS.

THE TOP DIAL IS A BAROMETER AND THE LOWER LEFT IS THE THERMOMETER AND THE LOWER RIGHT IS THE HYGROMETER.

THE BAROMETER WILL GIVE YOU AN INDICATION OF WHAT THE WEATHER IS GOING TO DO AND THE OTHER TWO LET YOU KNOW WHAT THE PRESENT CONDITIONS ARE, TEMPERTURE AND HUMIDITY

THE TIMBER IS A RICH STRONG RED COLOUR WITH A PATCH OF LIGHTER SAPWOOD ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE PIECE.

THE OVERALL DIAMETER OF THE PIECE IS 252mm OR 9.9" AND IT IS 35mm OR 1.4" THICK

IT HAS A SATIN FINISH OF BURNISHED DANISH OIL HIGHLIGHTING THE BEAUTIFUL FIGURING AND COLOURS, WHILST MAINTAINING THE NATURAL APPEARANCE AND IMPARTING A SILKY SMOOTH TEXTURE.
