BAROMETER

SET INTO A SENSATIONAL PIECE OF  HIGHLY FIGURED TASMANIAN BLACKWOOD, THIS PIECE HAS A 160mm (6.3") QUALITY GERMAN INSERT THAT HAS A BRASS SURROUND AND A BRUSHED GOLD FACE WITH BLACK MARKINGS.

ONE THIRD OF THE CENTER IS OPEN SHOWING THE WORKINGS OF THE UNIT.

THE TIMBER IS A MIX OF DARK CHOCOLATE BROWNS WITH A SILVERY CREAM SECTION OF SAPWOOD ACROSS THE BASE OF IT. IT HAS STRONG FIDDLEBACK PRESENT THROUGHOUT. IT CONTAINS A SMALL OPEN BIRDSEYE IN THE TOP SECTION.

IT HAS A BRASS SAWTOOTH HANGER FOR WALL MOUNTING.

THE OVERALL DIAMETER OF THE PIECE IS 252mm OR 9.9" AND IT IS 45mm OR 1.8" THICK

IT HAS A SATIN FINISH OF MY MICROCRYSTALLINE WAX POLISH, HIGHLIGHTING THE GREAT FIGURING AND COLOURS, WHILST MAINTAINING THE NATURAL APPEARANCE AND IMPARTING A SILKY SMOOTH TEXTURE.
