These splitter amplifiers are designed to amplify television signals that are of acceptable quality to one outlet unamplified, but when the signal is split to 4 outlets noticeable deterioration is present.

The low noise figure and high return loss makes these amplifiers ideal for both digital and analogue applications.

The SA164 has one input with 4 outputs. After the splitter is considered, there is 16db of gain at 860 MHz and 12 db at 44MHz to allow for signal equalisation. The low noise figure of less than 4db coupled with an output level of 100db/uV (Din45004B) makes an ideal multipurpose amplifier.

An adjustable VHF gain control is easily acessible through an opening located in the amplifier, making signal balancing a breeze.
