Tamron Collectors Take Note!

As new unsold stock Tamron rubber lens hood.
Designed for the above Tamron lenses the hood is not screw fitting instead it uses a screw clamp arrangement.
It may be able to be attached to other lenses internal diameter is 65mm.

I have found that because the rubber has been stored in the collapsed state for a long time in order for the lens hood to stay up and not collapse you need to turn it inside out. By turning it inside out you are able to form the non collapsed shape.

You then leave it exposed this way to the atmosphere for about a week.

After a week or so, turn the lens hood the right way round and it stays up properly.

I post these hoods turned inside out so by the time you get them they have already been exposed to the atmosphere and simply require turning the right way round.
