Pete Corbin handmade tandem bike!

This unique tandem was custom built by Peter Corbin, an English frame builder, in his Sutherland workshop. 

Beautiful handmade cromoly butted steel frame, with solid mountain bike componetry, makes this a very special bike. Not another mass-produced bicycle from China.

In addition to its uniqueness, this is also a very functional bike, ready to ride away! There's nothing quite as fun as riding around on a tandem.

  • 18 speed - get up the hills
  • Strong Ambrosio "Off road competition" 36-spoke, 26 inch wheels (mountain bike standard size)
  • Shimano Deore SIS deraillers and handlebar-mounted gear shifters - simple, durable componentry

Frame has significant surface oxodisation in spots. Does not affect structural integrity and could be removed by sanding and repainting.

Most componentry has also oxodised to some extent, but again, this does not affect its functioning.

Rear seatpost is currently jammed. Should be able to be loosened with some serious elbow grease or quick trip to the bike store.
