well known for it's wonderful quality canvas

and quality penelope canvas and blocked print.

In fact this brand is so expensive that it

 outpriced itself out of the Australian market

 Retail price for this size would be in excess of $150.00

Design suitable for silks, pearls, metallics

 and beads.

Canvas suitable for wool, cotton, silks, pearls-

use  with confidence, knowing that they will not catch on the canvas as do some brands of cheaper canvas. Ideal for continental, petite point,

 and other decorative / fine stitches.

Canvas size: 50 x 60cm

Design size: 40 x 50cms

Personal Note:

I stiched about 9 Ropis canvases over 30 odd years- 

 it is the best quality canvas I have ever stitched,

and I actually stitched this design for my shop.

 I used lots of different stitches and these threads:

DMC Medici for the hair (split wool also works) and background 

 DMC Stranded cotton for face / hands

(more colours than Medici but both suitable)

DMC Pearle no 3  for the dress and sleeves.

Pearle no 5 for the inner blouse near neck (yellow)

DMC Wool for dark cape 

DMC /Marlitt /Madeira Rayon for the candle, candle holder

added Balger metallics to rayon for the flame
