Small hardcover with dustjacket in good condition - has a small tear on dustjacket where sticker has been removed - 63 pages - 220gms

In this book, Patsy Adam Smith covers a cross-section of Tasmanian history in her usual lively style.  Feuding governors and their ladies, convict craftsmen and English architects, bushrangers, sly-groggers, Quakers, soldiers, gentlemen and rogues all have their place in these pages.  They give a fascinating glimpse into Tasmania's past, of which the memorials still stand in the many old buildings so ably illustrated by the fine sketches of Max Angus.
