This auction is for a second hand Telstra Bigpond wireless 7.2 broadband modem card kit, in very good working condition. To suit the Australian Telstra Next G (3G) wireless network. I bought this for my laptop new from Telstra in early 2008.

Edit: The make of this modem is Sierra Wireless, and the model number is AC880E (as indicated in installation manual).

Included in this kit is everything you need (except a Telstra account and SIM card) as follows:

* Bigpond 7.2 wireless modem card (to suit standard "express card" slot)

* Protective plastic case for modem

* PCMCIA card adapter (i.e. so that this modem can be used on older computers with the wider PCMCIA slot)

* Small 40cm "standard" external antenna

* Large 1.5m "additional accessory" external antenna (with magnetic base) - from memory this cost me $29.95 extra from a Telstra Shop.

* Bigpond wireless installation CD and manual (in original case)

Please note: there is no SIM card provided. To use this modem, first you will need to set up an account with Telstra (or use your existing Telstra account) with your own SIM card.

These kits retail for $299 from Telstra - so if you'd like to save $$$ and avoid being locked into a long contract, grab this bargain!
