This dome tent is 3m x 3m and the extension is also 3m x 3m. It is made from thick canvas and it does not leak. The extension has got a ground sheet that is attached with velcro. The tent and extension is both in separate bags. I have only used the extension once. This tent will last you for many happy camping holidays. A new tent like this will cost you $1800
