Here is a very interesting book “Gibbon’s The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire” A One Volume Abridgement by DM Low. The book features a unique look at Roman History with lots of interesting information and exhaustive research. It is published by Harcourt, Brace and Company, New York (1960). The cover is bright and clean consistent with long life in bookshelf, very nice condition. The pages are in nice bright condition with some minor foxing and yellowing as expected. The cover has some slight wear and fading as expected, minor foxing, slight chipping on spine edge, some light toning on endpapers, minor stains on page edge. Spine is tight and strong, book is very nice.


Lots of similar vintage and antique books up for auction from the same estate. Will combine lots and ship at exact cost.
