Antique salesman sample book. I can't find a copyright date anywhere in it. "The Indian Races of North & South America" By Charles De Wolf Brownnell. Most definitely very old. It has MANY color plates of various important Indians and scenes of Indian life and struggles. Some drawings include Captain John Smith, Indian Chief Osceola, Colonel, yes COLONEL George Washington, Gen. Jackson, Indian Chief Tecumseh, Pocahontas interposing for Captain Smith, Indian war dance, Indian weapons and tools, Christopher Columbus and much more. Then it has 76 pages of text, then the order form for ordering this volume. The price was $2.37 in leather or $2.75 in guilt. Folowing that there are three pages with names, addresses and purchase price. Mostly from Troy, New York. One from Greenbush one from Albany Nail Works, etc. The binding has let loose and it could use restoration. I believe this is a very rare piece of literature. Please look at the pictures closely. It measures 6" x 9". We are moving and selling hundreds of items. I have a few old Indian items up now so don't miss them. Shipping is what it is. Thanks
