Far more than a collection of show-business memories, the fully authorised biography is the story of how Judith Durham - world famous as 'the golden voice of The Seekers' - made front-page news in 1968 when she announced she was quitting the group.

 
The pop/folk group had stormed the charts in the 60s with songs like "I'll Never Find Another You" and "Georgy Girl".  As she enters her seventh decade, Judith Durham remains a highly successful recording and international touring concert artist.
 
This authorised biography tells how Judith coped with the knowledge that her beloved husband and brilliant musician, Rond Edgeworth, was fatally ill with Motor Neurone Disease.  She was awarded for her contribution to music as an entertainer and composer with a Medal Of The Order of Australia in the Queens Honours List of 1995.  Her story is ultimately a tribute to the brave and resilient qualities of the human spirit and an inspiration to all those who believe in the healing powers of music.
