This is copy of the classic World War 2 novel The Sixth of June by Robert Shapiro. It is a wonderful story which marries the historical foundation of World War 2 with the obstacles which had to be overcome by those deeply in love.  As far as I can tell it is completely intact. For a 1955 book it is in excellent condition - It even includes the book jacket and the advertising pamphlet from the Book of the Month Club. (I am selling several military books for a friend who has been out of work for quite some time and I am impressed by how well these books have been taken care of.)
