Description
A funny tale set in Islington. The pub is probably in Camden Passage. Islington sounds a much more entertaining place in the 1920s than it does today. (from http://www.beingdigital.co.uk/centuryofbooks/1927.html)

The landlord of the Sun in Splendour is a good comic character. Wonderfully funny ending.

Book is in good used condition.  Dust jacket is quite worn and has  shelf wear on the edges, pieces torn off at the spine and has been price clipped. Also has age spotting. First page has greeting to previous owner. Pages are tanning. 341 pages.
