This Was Racing, by Joe H Palmer. Amusing illustrations (by Willard Mullin) in this book about horse racing written by one of America's best known racing writers.

Hardcover published by A.S.Barnes & Co, New York, 1953, 3rd printing, 270-pages. Used but in generally good condition, edges of spine a bit worn, spine a bit discoloured, sprinkling of age spots on the end papers, last page has corner folded over.
