Trio of attractive, early, ceramic pottery character jugs from the UK. The tallest one measures 12 cm high with the two either side being around 7.5 cm tall. No markings on the lady but the quaker style gentleman is a Sandland Ware Handpainted figure. The other gentleman is marked but difficult to read (see photos). Condition is excellent on all three, no chips or cracks. Can’t put an exact date on when they would have been made but the glaze and colours definitely have a look of age about them. Would have to date from the first half of last century.
