Description

 This super solid Silver Tea spoon was made by Tiffany of New York. It has a decorative handle which is heavily embossed with the Statue of Liberty on the top, with an American Eagle and the heraldic  Coat of Arms of New York underneath.The Coat of Arms consists of a Shield with a figures either side, one being a native American, the other an English Sailor.  The shield is embossed with the sails of a windmill, barrels and beavers. The words "New York" are embossed  on the bottom end of the handle.The makers mark " TIFFANY & CO ,STERLING " is on the reverse side of the handle. The tea spoon is in good condition, there is some light scratching to the bowl. It is quite heavy and weighs 40gms, 1.25oz.Please note there are reflections on the photos.
