This is a rare collectors model in 1:43 scale by Ebbro of Japan, brand new in original packaging, Ebbro item number 43666.

1969 saw the debut of the new five litre V8 powered Toyota 7 sports racer. Its first outing was the Fuji 1000km and in October 1969 there were five cars entered in the Japan GP at Fuji International Speedway. The Toyota 7 featured a 32 valve quad cam fuel injected 5 litre V8 giving around 600bhp.

Unfortunately for Toyota, Nissan unveiled its 6 litre V12 for this race and the Toyotas finished in third to fifth places behind two Nissan R382's. This model represents the #6 car driven by Kanie and Misaki which failed to finish.

This model features accurate cast alloy wheels with Firestone race tyres and amazing brake detail with both ventilated brake discs and brake calipers fitted to all four wheels. The body is very nicely proportioned and depicts the original car very accurately. Other features include rear view mirrors, roll cage, beautifully detailed engine with intake system and exhaust system all accurately portrayed, filler caps plus all the correct badges, vents and grilles.

The interior is also very well done, with steering wheel, detailed dashboard and instrument panel with all controls and other features shown, gearshift lever, roll cage, fire extinguisher, race seat and harness plus many other details.

The rear underside of the model is also very well detailed, with exhaust system, radiators, rear suspension and transmission all represented.

Ebbro models are amongst the finest 1:43 scale models of their type available. Detail and finish are absolutely top class and second to none in this price range. All are limited editions, this item being one of only 3000 pieces originally produced for worldwide distribution. This item is brand new in original unmarked packaging.
