You are bidding on a TravelScan 2300 portable PCMCIA 24bit Colour Scanner.

 

In my previous job I travelled a lot and had to submit copies of hotel and taxi receipts to the finance dept to get reimbursed.  I could either wait a few weeks until I got home to submit my expenses and then wait weeks to get reimbursed or I could submit them as I travelled and get reimbursed faster.   This portable scanner basically paid for itself in credit card interest I saved by getting my expenses back sooner.

 

Different job now so no need for this anymore.  Almost sad to part with it but I know I’m not going to use it in earnest for the foreseeable future.

 

It’s in great condition and makes great 24bit colour or black and white scans at 300dpi resolution and is fully powered from the computer so no need to carry a separate power adapter which is perfect for travelling.

 

It comes in its original packaging, with a handy protective carry case, PCMCIA card, driver/software disk and manual.
