Trek 2300 Road Bike

This is a full Trek 2300 composite Road Bike circa 2000.It comprises a rear alloy triangle and fork with carbon top, seat and down tubes. It has been ridden consistently up until recently. The frame is in excellent condition - there is a small scratch on the top tube and some scuffing on the saddle. There is minor rust on the fixing bolts for the brake shoes that will be removed when the need to change the shoes arises. There is some other minor rust on the brake pivot points

The running gear is a mix of new SRAM Force (18 months old) and Shimano Ultegra 600. Since the Force was fitted, the bike has only been ridden roughly 500 km before I changed bikes.

I do have a compatible Trek OCLV fork that should fit this bike if desired at an extra cost that can be discussed

	Q: what sized rider would this suit and how many gears does it have Cheers A: Hi, I'm 6', so it would probably suit anyone from 5'10" to about 6'2". As for the number of gears, its a 10 speed cassette with a double chainring - thus it has 20 gears all up. Brendan	09 Nov, 2009
