Previously only available to the armed forces each Firefly Kit Marker has a reliable 10 year plus glow life.

Powered by GTLS (Gaseous Tritium Light Sources) sourced from MB Microtec, the world leader in self illuminating products, the Firefly Kit Marker provides light continuosly for 10 years even during complete darkness.

Suitable for operation between -60 degrees C and up to +80 degrees C, they will continue to work normally even when submersed under water.

20mm in length

- Location marker for vital pieces of equipment
- Trench and safe route marking
- Equipment marking and identification
- Hazard and obstacle marking
- Differentiate functions by colour

 

NO BATTERIES:
The Marker needs no power supply of any sort. Illumination is provided by the
GTLS (Gaseous Tritium Light Sources) a borosilicate glass capsule, internally phosphor-coated, and filled with tritium gas, which
activates the phosphor to emit light.

LONG LIFE:
The Marker has an in service life of 10 years with no need for any maintenance. It conforms
to MoD Defence Standard 62-4.

ROBUST and SECURE:
The Marker is made from tough acetal plastic and has a viewing range of 10 metres under
clear starlight night conditions. Typical Applications:

Helps night patrols to keep in close contact under difficult conditions.

Essential stores and equipment can be safely and easily identified by attaching a Marker.
