READ THIS
0.5 Micron is very fine filtration for a sediment filter. Commonly used on very good quality drinking water or when an expensive second filter is being used.
0.5 Micron will stop Giardia cysts from entering your drinking water which is essential when drinking tank water, and or, some town water supplies. Remember, chlorinated water will not guarantee protection from Guardia cysts or the egg from the cyst that is regularly reported to travel through larger sized filters and hatch in the stomach, which in turn can cause illness episodes which require medical attention.
If you have ever had Giardia you will know what I am saying. It is recommended to use an absolute carbon type Giardia filter but this sediment filter can offer protection and protect you carbon filter from premature failure.
These systems are very popular with our regular customers for caravan and camper situation when you want to fill the tank before you head off. Most of our sales for these filters are for tank water supplies.
Suits common sized filter cartridges that can be found in just about any hardware store in Australia.
These Blue housings are UV stable .
Please note:
This size filter housing with sediment filters is suitable for all of house use but not with carbon. Carbon filters in this size are not suitable for all of house use, they will reduce flow and pressure. These filter housings are Australian Standards Approved, but should not be used as point of use applications inside the house. Experience has told us that they could release water from the pressure release valve on the top . This is unlikely, but never the less possible. So we recomend outside use only .
If you are seeking inside filter applications we have other housings better suited for this.

Shipping Details
DELIVERY TIMES: We are super fast with our deliveries; all orders will be dispatched by courier or post the same day of payment entering our account. However, due to eBays enforced changes, where all payments must be made via Pay Pal, we are now forced to hold goods at our dispatch until such time that the payment reaches our account from Pay Pal. This process can take up to ten days. We realise this is an inconvenience, but due to the unsafe nature of Pay Pal and the prospect of fraudulant behaviour arising from within Pay Pal, we are not prepared to risk releasing goods prior to the money being in our account. Until eBay change this policy our hands are tied. We encourage you to voice your disapproval to eBay, as we have done. Please feel free to phone us on 07 55 800 306 for further information. Once payment reaches our account, all east coast deliveries should arrive in 2 days or less. All other areas may take 3-5 days.
PICK UPS: Pick up's are available on some items, however you must check with us PRIOR TO BIDDING on an item if you wish to arrange pick up. Some items will not be available for pick up and we reserve the right to make this decision.
Return Policy
We do not refund items unless the item is found to be defective and all reasonable effort has been made to correct the problem first. Please be sure that the item you are bidding on is what you require before bidding.

We have been leaving positive feedback freely to all our customers, but due to a large increase in sales and even larger time restraints, we have now changed our policy, and only offer feedback after feedback is received.
From The Seller
Due to the mandatory changes by eBay Australia, forcing all buyers to use Pay Pal and no other methods of payment, we have been forced to greatly reduce the number of lines we have available to buy through eBay. We believe Pay Pal is unsafe, and furthermore the fees imposed by eBay and Pay Pal equate to a massive 20-25% per item. (Plus Pay Pal also has introduced fees on freight and GST, pushing our fees well over 25% per sale). This is simply unworkable for us. We will continue to sell our vast array of product, but are forced to seek alternate selling avenues, where we have the ability to offer our customers our traditional low prices.
