The Australian Goldfields are a harsh environment and Summer temperatures rise to over 40 degrees, so prospecting with a metal detector is a energy sapping event, but the reward for enduring these hardships is some of these beautiful GOLD NUGGETS.
This particular nugget was found using one of the latest Minelab Metal Detectors, the brilliant GP3500, the newer GPX4000 or the latest GP4500 and was found by either myself or my partner on one of our expeditions, so it was found directly by the prospector and is now available to you for your enjoyment. Every Gold Nugget we find is a special piece.
Mother Nature has made sure that all her gold nuggets are unique as there are never two alike and this one is an excellent example of that.
This gold nugget weighs in at 20.83 grams or two thirds of an ounce of fabulous natural gold.
This is quite a large nugget as can be seen by the scans.
