The item is an modern English ‘Clayton’ brand upright piano with a figured walnut cabinet together with its original matching stool. The piano was manufactured in the early 1970’s, an excellent period for piano manufacture. The piano has been owned by the same family for the past 30 years and was traded in for a new grand piano. The piano plays beautifully and has a deep mellow tone, it is suitable for all levels of playing from beginners to advanced musicians. Since being traded in, we have conducted a full tuning and service in our piano workshop to allow a 10 year warranty on the piano. During the service we have also re-whitened the key tops and replaced certain felts. There are a few areas of fading on the cabinet here and there as would be expected with a piano of this age, however overall it is in excellent condition. The dimensions of the piano are as follows: 1400(W) X 1200(H) X 570(D).

We are selling this piano through e-bay at a wholesale price as we are currently overstocked with second-hand pianos. The final price the piano sells for will include delivery (to 20kms from Adelaide CBD) and tuning. Therefore whatever the end sale price is, there will be no further costs to the successful bidder. Due to the wholesale price we will not send this piano interstate. This kind of piano would ordinarily retail for approximately $3000.00 without delivery and tuning.  The piano is currently being stored at an employee’s residence along with 3 or 4 others due to our stock levels, viewings are ok but this will need to be arranged with Joe on 0408221272.
