M1942 Jump Uniform Jacket & Trousers– look no further!

Uniform Details:

This is a theatrically aged version of the standard paratrooper uniform jump uniform used by the US Army airborne units during WWII.  This basic model saw action in North Africa, Sicily and Normandy Campaigns.  It was replaced by the M-1943 uniform around the time of the Arnhem-Nijmegan operations.

This version has been weathered to replicate what an original found today would look like... some have combat "jump wings" on the back and others don't!

This is a quality reproduction airborne uniform jump jacket.  It is unlined and made from 100% cotton.  This uniform coat is one part of a two part uniform. It is coloured a fine olive drab #3 (khaki).

This uniform features the distinctive four "second pattern" large bellowed front pockets with double snaps.  They are great for stuffing items into.  (The "first pattern" models never saw combat).  The upper two chest pockets are angled for easy access and the lower two side pockets are in a more normal position with basic cover flaps.

It comes with 101st Airborne Patch, ID Flag and Quartermaster tag

The jacket has a fine cut around the waist and shoulders and compares well with other replica US WWII paratrooper garments on the market.  It has the concealed vertical pocket (for a hidden knife), 3/4 length talon brand zipper, belted waist and metal snapped collar & cuffs. 

The trousers are also cotton with side cargo pockets, suspender buttons, watch pocket and leg ties. 

All snaps have been set with raw steel (zinc plated) scovil brand snaps... which were not cheap to get and have been weathered.

THIS UNIFORM IS TINY... JUST LIKE MOST ORIGINALS... IT WAS NOT THAT BIG TO START WITH AND HAS SHRUNK
