It is USB 2.0, it edits data on usb stick very fast, has a green LED to show you its on and working, Plug and play, very simple to use, in windows, as soon as you plug it in, it will install it (for the first time you use it) which takes about 10 seconds then it all works perfectly. Cable Looks nice, has a charger/power port next to USB.
