From collectibles to electronics, buy and sell all kinds of items on eBay Stores USS CASPER PF-12 USN Cover postmarked in Casper, Wyoming on March 28, 2006. Blue printed photo of actual ship on cachet #2828 of the Tacoma Class patrol frigate that served in the World War II. She was named for the City of Casper, Wyoming. Franked with 37 cent WW II Memorial stamp ( Sc# 3862 ). All of these 99 vessels had USCG crews of 190 men. The USS Casper was one of the first patrol frigates built late in WW II that performed weather ship duty in the Pacific out of Seattle. She was later decommissioned on May 16, 1946. Seller has covers listed on e-bay for all the WWII Patrol Frigates. Check out my other items!
