From collectibles to electronics, buy and sell all kinds of items on eBay StoresUSS HOQUIAM PF-5 WW II PATROL FRIGATE Memorial cover postmarked from Hoquiam, Washington on January 30, 2006. She was a 303 foot Tacoma Class patrol frigate that served in the World War II with a US Coast Guard crew of 190 men, Color photo printed cachet #2019 by Alvin Eckert USCS #9964. USS Hoquiam was one of the patrol frigates built during WW II that was lend-leased to the Soviet Union in 1945. She served with the US Navy during the early part of the Korean War, earning five battle stars. The vessel was transferred to South Korea's navy in October of 1951. Cover franked with a 39 cent American Flag stamp. Check out my other items!
