       6P15P EL83 (EL84) is One of widely known EL84 clones. EL84 may be replaced by 6P15P.

EL83, EL863, N153, N309 analogues are considered, Among Russian audiofuns,

to be one of the best drivers (in triode mode) for powerful target triodes.

 

These two tubes are specially selected on an identical current of the anode at nominal conditions of use.

Such selection is obligatory at use of  tubes in last cascade PP of the amplifier.

 

For selection of  tubes it was used professional military device L3-3.
