Rosemary Petyarre Pitjara was born in 1945 .

She is the sister to well known artists Greeny Purvis Petyarre, Evelyn Pultara, Jeannie Petyarre and Anna Price Petyarre, and the cousin of Gloria, Nancy, Myrtle, Kathleen, Violet and Ada Bird Petyarre. Niece of the great Emily Kame Kngwarreye

Rosemary ’s incredible works have been extensively exhibited around the world and feature in several prominent international private and public collections.

She paints with acrylic on canvas and paints  BUSH TUCKER, MEDICINE PLANTS AND NATIVE FAUNA.
