UV Exposure Unit is an important tool in screen printing.The 20"x24" table top exposure unit is built of extruded aluminum and is undoubtedly one of the best built units on the market. Affordability is important in a start up screen shop, but don't let the price of this unit fool you.With this unit you are able to burn crisp images and bring a professional look to your screen printing shop,and the built in automatic timer helps prevent over exposing.

Working Principle:

Screen printing screens are coated with a light sensitive emulsion using a scoop coater.

When the screen is dry, place a positive print of your image on the screen.

Once you burn the screen, the emulsion that did not get any UV will wash out of the screen exposing the tiny pin holes. The surrounding areas that was exposed to UV will be cured.

Hence the ink will pass through and onto your substrate

Installation instruction
For avoiding damage during transportation, the light tubes are not be installed, so before using, please install them as following instruction.
1. Open the package and place the machine on the table .then remove the glass from machine carefully by hand
2. Take out the light tubes, sucker, power line and other accessories.
3．Place the light tubes on light clips one by one, and insert the plugs on the two sides. After that, turn on the power to check if the lights on.
4. Place the glass on the machine by sucker (the using methods please refer to the package).
5. There are one light tube, ballast and fuse tube in reserve.
Operation process
1. Turn on the power, and the meter is on.
2. Set exposing time: Press “SET” key, the last indicator of meter shows “S” shining. Press “+” or “-” to set time. After setting time, “S” stops shining. Then press “RUN” key, the meter remembers the time automatically.
   While press “RUN” key, the light tubes are all on and the meter begins counting down. After checking that, turn off the power and prepare the materials.
3. Place the film and screen plate, turn on the power, press the green key, the machine begins exposing. When finishing it, the light tubes turn off automatically and buzzer rings. If you want to go on, you can place the materials and press green key again. The buzzer stops ringing and the lights on. The machine works as before.
4. The machine has automatic memory function, so when use it next time; it will work as the original setting.
5. The common troubles and solving method:
   If the meter or light tubes don’t work, please check the fuse tube or power line, or change according to actual condition.
   If some light tube doesn’t work, please check whether the two plugs on the two sides of light tubes is installed tightly. If they are tight, please check light tubes and ballasts. Change them according to actual condition.
