How to use Yarn Swift and Ball Winder?

This umbrella yarn swift is handmade of well finished birch wood which is known for it's high quality. Wood is straight grained and beautifully sanded to prevent snags and prevent yarn slippage. And its umbrella style design allows it can be folded up for storage when it is not in use.

The clamp-on base (with a wooden twist screw)allows it to be firmly fixed at the edge of tables, chairs, benches, or any convenient locations.

It is used to transform large skeins of yarn into neat and ready-to-use balls. This Large size winder can hold skeins up to 103” in circumference and the Skein on the photo is not for sale. You can make your skein bigger or smaller by lifting the clip, it is really very easy and convenient to use.

The screws&the holes on our yarn swift

Our yarn swift comes with 6 metal screws on the inside circle to connect the umbrella shaft;

And around the upper and the base swift the holes are hand tied with thread;

On the outside circle of our swift, the holes are pierced without any screws.
